How This Equipment Works
Cryocell is a device that uses cryoelectrophoresis, applying a cooling head that chills the skin surface to around minus 10-15 degrees Celsius together with a microcurrent. Because the current is delivered while the epidermis is cooled, it can apply stimulation with relatively little burden of burns or pain—this is its distinguishing feature.
The low temperature temporarily constricts blood vessels, helping the applied medicinal ingredients stay at the treatment site longer rather than being quickly absorbed into the bloodstream, while at the same time the principle of electrical ion penetration (iontophoresis) helps active ingredients move into the skin.
